Incey Winceys Day Nursery


Our nursery is split according to the ages and stages of the children that we care for, and each room has age appropriate toys, equipment and activities.


BABY ROOM 0-2 years

Our large, open plan, baby room consists of four rooms which the children can confidently explore to their hearts content, with all toys being at low level for our babies to easily access.

Babies need love and cuddles, which is why we have a feeding chair for babies still needing a bottle and soft carpets designed to be delicate on little knees learning to crawl and walk. Because our babies love to get messy we also have two rooms that are dedicated to eating and messy play.

We have separate sleep rooms for the younger babies, which are equipped with cots, baby monitors and soft decor for the children to feel comfortable in. We have a separate nappy changing area and a milk preparation area for the sterile and hygienic preparation of bottles.

Our babies all have access to our garden, and also go out and about to the park or just for an outing in our local community.



TODDLERS 2-3 years

Our toddler room is a large open space that opens onto the garden and has many exciting areas to play in and explore.

We have a cosy corner and book area that is extremely welcoming, and often you will find the children in our ‘den’ or cooking up a storm in the home corner!

Each area in the toddler room is designed with learning through play in mind, with areas dedicated to art, imaginary play, exploration and investigation and maths and literacy. We also have sand and water and messy play available…

There are child sized toilets and changing facilities for whatever stage your little one is at.


Part 1  and Part 2


PRE SCHOOL 3-5 years

Our preschool helps to prepare our children for the next big step in their lives, whilst still focusing on learning through play.

With areas specifically set up to cover each area of the early years curriculum, the children are encouraged to become confident, independent and to respect each other as individuals.

The children access the garden as much as possible love to go out and about in our local community.
