Our Baby Room is enjoying playtime!

In our baby room, we focus on learning through play and sensory activities. Today, the children had a great time exploring different animals and mimicking their sounds. They also experienced a variety of textures, including, cold, wet, grainy, and soft. The little ones joyfully used their hands and spoons to scoop, pour, and mix.

This morning, the baby room celebrated Chinese New Year together! The children showed great confidence in using their fine motor skills. Everyone was engaged and thoroughly enjoyed painting with brushes to create beautiful Chinese New Year artwork of horses. Well done to all the little ones for their fantastic efforts! Keep up the great work! 🥰

Baby room were given the choice of many different activities for different areas of learning. These activities covered the individual stages of development that we think our children are at. Sand and water, painting, puzzles, building, reading and roleplay in the kitchen corner. Some of the children chose to stay with one activity, but others wanted to explore all different areas. Fine and gross motor skills, communication skills and role play/ simple life skills. Baby room had so much fun this morning, learning through play 🤍
